Return to cricket for all ages

Return to cricket for all ages

This weekend saw two friendlies for the 1st and 2nd senior cricket teams having returned to train on the 30th of March. We can now confirm the return to training for juniors.

The first training session will be on the 15th of April for all juniors above 7 years of age. Our coaches and volunteers will be taking registers and working strictly in line with ECB guidance to ensure the venue and all participants are COVID secure. Details of our COVID policy are available on request.

The following week we will then add a further group to allow for the youngest age group ages 4 – 7. This is aimed at a fun introduction to cricket often for younger brothers and sisters. It is not anticipated that the clubhouse and bar will be open on the 15th. However, facilities such as toilets, first aid, etc will all be available. Please ensure children turn up ready to play.  Our junior cricket coordinator Steph Elmy will be there.

Membership fees are payable online there is one fixed fee for the season that covers all training sessions. The fees include coaching, enrollment, equipment, upkeep of grounds. All players MUST join and pay the relevant fees here. There is also the potential to play weekly games subject to availability from the league and selection.
